Camps serve teens ages 13-17. Academies are designed for teens ages 13-18.

At iD Tech, it's never "just another day at camp." Whether it’s BattleBots®, Roblox, Java, AI, machine learning, or one of our other can't-miss courses, there's something for every interest at iD Tech. Our relatable, Gen Z instructors support and inspire teens. Each day blends technical breakthroughs with unforgettable camp traditions like dress-up days, raffles, and gaming tournaments. It’s the perfect mix of summer fun and future-focused learning.

Through this once-in-a-lifetime experience, your teens will spend two weeks as honorary college students, soaking in the inspiring campus and surrounding city that could be their future home. The moment your teens step into our state-of-the-art labs, they’ll be immersed in startup vibes, peer-to-peer learning, instruction from relatable Gen Z experts, and an intensive curriculum in AI, machine learning, game design, robotics, and more.

These programs are specifically designed for teens to develop a growth mindset to embrace challenges, view perseverance as a path to mastery, and find inspiration in success. They’re also designed for teens to have a blast! At UCLA, teens will get a beach day, complete with a trip to Santa Monica Pier. At MIT Campus, they’ll take a trip to the New England Aquarium. At Georgia Tech, they’ll visit the famous World of Coca-Cola. Each academy location brings its own unique adventure!

Along with their diploma and unforgettable memories, all graduates will walk away with a portfolio piece that’ll stand out on college apps. Academies are the launchpad for future success!
 

Our course curriculum is designed so that teens can shape the direction of their projects. Instructors are always there to guide and support in the lab. 

During overnight activities like board games, gaming competitions, and more, all teens are included, and no one is left sitting in their room on their phone. 

During off-campus academy adventures, meaningful mentors are there to supervise while teens explore.
 

For both overnight camps and Academies, each day starts at 7:15am with breakfast in the dining hall. At night, 6pm brings dinner time, followed by activities until 10pm when teens head to their dorms—just like real-life college students!

Our instructors are recruited from top universities, but more importantly, they are elite mentors who understand teens, share their interests, bring first-hand experience, and serve as real-life role models for what the future holds. They are trained extensively to differentiate engaging content to teens’ needs, connect on an individual level, and inspire them to pursue their dreams. 

Our small class sizes mean big personalized learning. Our student-to-instructor ratio is 12:1. 
 

Day camps run from 8:30-4:30 with daily drop off and pick up. Overnight camps start with a Sunday evening drop off and pick up on Friday afternoon for the Family Showcase. 

Academies are two-week overnight programs that begin with a Sunday evening drop off and conclude with pick up on the second Friday afternoon after the Family Showcase.
