In 1999, our family pioneered the very first tech camps for kids and teens. We’ve since grown from 280 to 50,000 students per year, spreading our Silicon Valley startup culture around the world and online. No other program has our track record of long-term student success, our passion, or our reputation as the world's go-to summer STEM educator. How iD started

Did you know that when we first founded iD Tech in 1999, we worked 7 days a week in a studio above a garage? We earned no salaries. We had no financing. Some said the need for ‘tech camps’ wouldn’t last—that we’d be obsolete in 5 years. But we believed in the idea of awesome technology education. And what started as 280 students per year has grown to 50,000 students per year around the world! Here we are 25 years later, growing, evolving, and delivering life-changing STEM experiences. We are proud to say that no other program has our track record of long-term student success. No other program has our passion, our demand, or our reputation as the world's largest and most trusted tech program in the world.
