Pittsburgh Robotics Camps

Unleash your child's potential and love for robotics this summer at Carnegie Mellon University.

Alongside new friends and tech mentors, kids will be surrounded by Beaux-Arts-style architecture while on campus of a university with a reputation as the home to many computer science firsts.

Such an awe-inspiring learning environment is more than just a backdrop—it's a dynamic space that stimulates creativity, sparks curiosity, and encourages exploration.

When you add robotics and 25 years of legendary iD Tech traditions to the mix, words don’t do the experience justice. (But, we’ll certainly try!)

From virtual robotics and Scratch to new BattleBots® courses, robotics camps for ages 7-17 are available now.

Registration is live, and seats fill quickly.

On Campus at Carnegie Mellon University

In between robotics camp sessions at CMU, students will:

  • Chow down at Resnik Food Hall alongside future tech disruptors
  • Take in the inspiration from Ansys Hall and Cohon University Center
  • Bask in the sunshine with friends during outdoor activities and games
  • Laugh ‘til their sides hurt with spontaneous dance-offs, theme days, and Pie-Your-Instructor Fridays

"My son had an amazing experience at camp. He sent me a text on the first day just to say the instructors were all really nice and funny. His week was spent surrounded by like-minded kids and adults, and he had a blast learning. He’s already planning his classes (yes, classes!) for next year. Thank you all for a great week!"
