For kids who dream of designing video games, modding, or taking over the world with creativity, gamified learning is the perfect way to start. Our Minecraft camps are so fun, kids won’t even realize they’re learning! Campers will have a blast strengthening new skills and building a base knowledge, while discovering unknown worlds and forging forever friendships.

Minecraft Game Design Camp
Ages: 7-9 | Beg-Adv
Held at North Carolina State University
Kids turn Minecraft into a playable world of their own design while learning core game design and storytelling concepts. Students build custom levels, textures, and pixel art, then use redstone and command blocks to create puzzles, machines, and dynamic in-game events—bringing creativity, logic, and problem-solving together in one original adventure.
Minecraft Modding and World Design
Ages: 10-12 | Beg-Adv
Held at North Carolina State University
Kids step into Minecraft modding and learn how to shape the game itself. Using MCreator, students design custom mods with new items, mobs, biomes, and textures, then build maps and gameplay experiences around an original story. Along the way, they experiment with creative design, game balance, and problem-solving—turning imagination into fully playable Minecraft mods!
