University of Richmond is a private liberal arts institution situated just six miles from vibrant downtown Richmond and approximately 90 miles from Washington D.C. The suburban campus spans 350 acres, juxtaposing iconic red brick buildings and gothic architecture with beautiful lawns, pine trees, and the beauty of nearby Westhampton Lake.
Many of the original buildings on campus—including Jeter Hall, North Court, Ryland Hall, and the old library—were designed by Ralph Adams Cram, a renowned architect who also designed structures at Princeton, Cornell, Rice, and other prestigious universities.
