As you prepare your child for their summer course at their scheduled camp location, you might be wondering what to expect for them day-to-day. We made a sample schedule to give you a better idea of what camp days will look like. And, if they have a friend who’s considering camp, forward this blog so they’ve got the inside scoop too!

Summer, here we come

8:30am Check-in

Each day of camp will begin with a check-in window of 30 minutes before we start. Heads up: Monday drop-off will take a bit longer with first-day sign-in, lunch checks, paperwork intake, etc.

9:00am Icebreakers

Camp starts with morning announcements, team-building activities, and icebreakers to help campers get to know their peers and instructors. Then, campers will split into groups and head to the lab.

9:30am Small group learning

On the first day of camp, campers will learn the ropes for the foundation of their project. On Tuesday and Wednesday, they’ll ideate, brainstorm, and begin to build.

12:00pm Lunch

The campers will walk to lunch together. On the way, they’ll see more of campus before chowing down in the dining hall.

1:00pm More inspirational instruction

Campers continue strengthening skills under the guidance of expert instructors. On Wednesday and Thursday, they’ll use this time to dig in and tinker with their projects.

2:30pm Outdoor exploration

Camp is all about getting a taste of the college experience. That’s why we balance fun with tech with fun on campus. Campers will burn some energy with kickball, capture the flag, wildlife photography, and more!

3:15pm Back to the lab

Campers return to their projects with fresh eyes and continue their masterpiece. Toward the end of the week, they’ll begin to see their project come to life and get it presentation-ready. On the last day of camp, they’ll find the perfect stopping point and complete finishing touches before the Family Showcase!

4:30pm That’s a wrap!

Each day of camp will end with a check-out window of 30 minutes. Get ready to hear your child’s epic stories all the way home! On the last day of camp, families are invited to our Family Showcase—bring some tissues and get ready to match their proud smile!

What about overnight campers?

Each day starts at 7:15am with breakfast in the dining hall. At night, 6pm brings dinner time, followed by activities until 10pm when campers will commence sweet dreams in the dorms.
