Enter Costa, a twelve-year-old who first attended iD Tech in 2015.
After returning for three summers, this aspiring engineer started his own robotics team and led them to champion status.
“Our middle school didn't offer a robotics team last year. My experiences at iD inspired me to create one with my friends called the Taco Bros!”
Costa and his teammates honed their skills and competed in FIRST LEGO League as rookies for two years. Their hard work eventually paid off when they received a Champions award in Long Island.
And in recent news, Costa and the Taco Bros. made their way to Arkansas to compete for the FIRST LEGO League Championships.
The outcome? The team brought home the Core Values Inspiration Award, given to the group most empowered by their FIRST LEGO League experience that "displays extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit."

Next stop? Costa is actually back at camp in New York as we speak in order to further finesse his robotics skills.
