  • What Are Ultimate Gaming Weekends?

    At select iD Tech Camps locations, students ages 10-17 can participate in gaming tournaments and other activities during our optional Ultimate Gaming Weekends (UGW)! Whether you want to bridge two consecutive weeks of camp or stay the weekend after your session, you’ll have a blast competing alongside fellow gamers.

    Please note: Ultimate Gaming Weekends are available for overnight campers only and can only follow a week of overnight camp. Ultimate Gaming Weekends can be selected as an add-on during registration. Availability varies by location.

    As an Ultimate Gamer you will compete in the world of LAN gaming, iD Tech style. If you choose, you can hone strategies against other students and instructors, or collaborate in teams for bigger challenges. Practice and earn bragging rights on cutting-edge machines with NVIDIA GeForce hardware while competing to become the weekend champion. Ultimate Gaming Weekends are the perfect supplement to our summer enrichment programs.

    Pre-Teens (Ages 10-12)

    For pre-teens ages 10-12 attending UGW, we offer Minecraft, Portal 2, ShootMania: Storm, and Torchlight II, and more.

    We’ve still got you covered. You can take it easy in the labs, play retro games, read a book, play outdoor sports, or just keep a low profile. Ultimate Gaming Weekends are a great option for students looking to stay the weekend and have a blast! Meals, housing, and gaming supervision are all included.

    UGW Sample Schedule

    Ultimate Gaming Weekends begin Friday immediately after camp ends and continue through Sunday at 6pm (pick-up is 4pm Sunday if you are not attending the upcoming week). Students attending the upcoming session of iD Tech Camps will continue to game and participate in activities until the next week begins. Schedules will vary by location.

    Friday

    4pm: UGW begins
    6pm: Dinner
    7pm: Gaming and evening activities begin
    10pm: Game over…lights out!

    Saturday

    9am: Breakfast
    10am: Gaming time in the labs
    Noon: Lunch
    1pm: Gaming tournament
    2pm: Outing (e.g., local shopping, campus tour, etc.)
    6pm: Dinner
    7pm: Gaming and evening activity
    10pm: Time to sleep!

    Sunday

    9am: Breakfast

    1pm: UGW Tournament!
    4pm: Check-out (Attending another week? Game on!)

  • What Are Weekend Stays?

    Weekend Stays are offered at select iD Tech Academy locations for teens 13-18, and are intended to bridge the 2-week, overnight Academy sessions. You may also stay the weekend after your session. Weekend Stays can be selected as an add-on during registration.

    Students who stay the weekend can expect gaming tournaments, campus excursions, and a variety of outdoor and indoor games and activities. Video gamers can take part in LAN parties, hone strategies against other students and instructors, and collaborate in teams for bigger challenges. Practice and earn bragging rights on cutting-edge machines with NVIDIA GeForce hardware while competing against fellow gamers to be the weekend champion.

    2pm: Outing (local shopping, campus tour with friends, etc.)

    10pm: Time to sleep!

    Noon: Lunch
    1pm: Prepare to pitch your iD Jumpstarter start-up style to fellow students!
    6pm: Dinner. The start of another AWESOME week.
