Please note: The only information our Camp Specialists have is what is contained on these pages. If you have questions or concerns, please email TAP@iDTech.com.

Things to keep in mind:

  • A video link or short essay from your student explaining why they want to attend iD Tech must be submitted with the application. A sample video can be found HERE.  Instructions on uploading a video to YouTube can be found HERE.
  • iD Tech is dedicated to equal opportunity education.
  • iD Tech awards limited scholarships based on financial need. You will be asked to select how much aid you need to send your student to camp. In an effort to send as many kids to camp as possible, individuals asking for a partial scholarship may receive preferential treatment.
  • An application is not a guarantee of assistance.
  • Scholarships are for day camp only. Scholarship recipients can choose to add lunch, overnights, and other upgrades. Payment of any remaining balance will be your responsibility.
  • Partial scholarships may be applied toward any iD Tech program except winter break and spring break camps. Scholarships may not be used for iD Tech Online programs, or the iD Tech Store.
  • You can apply for a scholarship for a camp session for which your student is already registered. However, if you register for our 2020 season before your scholarship application is approved or denied, you will not be eligible for a full scholarship. The greatest scholarship amount you can be awarded is the price of day camp minus the amount you paid when you registered. Any balance remaining will be your responsibility.
  • The non-refundable amount for each course you purchased will not be refunded, even if you do not receive a scholarship.
  • Scholarship recipients are required to pay the $40 Compliance and Safety Fee. Your scholarship will not cover this amount. If paying the $40 Compliance and Safety Fee is a financial hardship that would prevent your student from attending camp, you will be able to apply for a waiver after being selected.
  • To be eligible for an individual scholarship, the applicant must be over the age of 18 or be the parent or guardian of a student between the ages of 7 and 17. They must also be able to certify that their household income is at or below the applicable income level indicated in the chart below.

Total household income (based on 300% of the Federal Poverty Level):
