About the Madison Area

Madison is Wisconsin's second largest city (over 230,000 residents), trailing only the city of Milwaukee. Nicknamed "Mad City" and "Madtown" for obvious reasons, Madison's famous State Street serves as the city's epicenter with University of Wisconsin students occupying the many restaurants and bars. The University of Wisconsin-Madison also hosts iD Tech Camps, with students traveling from surrounding cities like Fitchburg, Middleton, Waukesha, and Cottage Grove to attend our Madison summer computer camps.

Looking for something fun to do while the kids are at camp? Our Madison summer programs are minutes from the city's top attractions. Happy exploring!
