About Rice University

We have chosen Rice University to host our intensive summer teen camps in Houston, Texas, because Rice is a comprehensive research university that boasts a low student-teacher ratio, fostering an environment where learning is deep, meaningful, and unique to each student.

Our Academy programs held at Rice are located about thirty to forty minutes away from both William P. Hobby Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport, making the school an easily accessible option for teen overnight students.

Nearly 78% of Rice’s undergraduate student population lives on-campus, divided into eleven residential colleges, which become close-knit communities for students throughout their time at Rice. Stay in those same dorms, which consist of a mixture of historic and modern architecture, and eat in those same dining halls, for a truly memorable collegiate experience. All meals are included.

We hope to see you this summer at our iD Coding & Engineering Academy at Rice University!
