About the St. Louis Area

St. Louis doesn't belong to a county, but instead operates as an independent city, which is a rare occurrence in the United States (outside of Virginia); Baltimore, MD is actually the country's largest independent city. Nicknamed "Gateway to the West" due to its presence as an established settlement and good starting point for U.S. settlers to "move west." As a dedication to this westward expansion, the famous Gateway Arch was constructed, still standing as the tallest man-made structure found anywhere in the entire country. In St. Louis, iD Tech Camps offers a gateway of knowledge at Washington University, allowing students to take part in a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) courses while getting a feel for the university's campus. Students from nearby Missouri cities including Chesterfield, Wildwood, and Clayton attend our St. Louis summer computer camps.

Looking for something fun to do while the kids are at camp? Our St. Louis summer programs are minutes from the city's top attractions. Happy exploring!
