About the St. Paul Area

Together with Minneapolis, St. Paul makes up what is known as the "Twin Cities"—aptly named given the fact that the two cities are the largest in Minnesota, were founded around the same time, and are next to each other geographically. St. Paul on its own has about 285,000 residents, some of whom might work for the city's largest employers like Ecolab, or nearby 3M in Maplewood. Other notable city landmarks include the Xcel Energy Center, home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild, and the Como Zoo and Conservatory. St. Paul is also home to Macalester College, which is one of the many iD Tech Camps locations to offer summer computer courses and classes, with students from Eden Prairie, Edina, Roseville, and St. Cloud attending camps in MN.

Looking for something fun to do while the kids are at camp? Our St. Paul summer programs are minutes from the city's top attractions. Happy exploring!
