Welcome to our 2nd season hosting summer technology programs at Loyola University (home of the LU Wolf)! In 1999, our family company set out to reinvent "camp" for the 21st century. Today, we’re #1 in summer tech education, with 150+ locations nationwide and an expansive lineup of courses in coding, game design, app development, web design, film, photography, and more.
At our LU camps, minutes from world-famous downtown Chicago, kids and teens build valuable STEM skills in an inspiring, collegiate setting. Students experience personalized learning with a maximum of 8 students per instructor and use the best brand name products from industry leaders like Adobe, Apple, Autodesk, Google, and Microsoft. At iD Tech Camps, you can code an iPhone or Android app from scratch, design your own video game with Unity, mod with Minecraft, engineer a robot with VEX, produce a viral video for YouTube, and so much more. Whatever your passion, kick-start your future in STEM with over 30 of the latest and greatest summer technology courses.
Our flagship program blends world-class instruction with fun camp activities for a well-balanced experience. In each weeklong session, you’ll explore a top campus, create an impressive project, and build skills that last long after summer. iD Tech Camps courses are segmented by age, providing an optimal camp experience for kids, pre-teens, and teens of all skill levels.
About Loyola University Chicago
Our Chicago summer camps at Loyola University provide the ideal balance of STEM learning and summer fun! This "Windy City" campus is one of six Loyola University campuses throughout the metro area, and offers 71 undergraduate degrees, 85 master's degrees, 31 doctoral degrees, and 26 graduate-level certificate programs. Loyola University has been continuously striving to implement "green" initiatives on campus to improve sustainability. In 2012, the university became the first in the state of Illinois to completely ban bottled water on its campuses. The goal was to raise awareness of the environmental dangers of plastic bottles, and to bring attention to global drinking water shortages.
