About Rollins College

At our summer camps in the Orlando area at Rollins College, we strike the right balance between off-computer activities (creative games, sports, life skills, etc.) and essential technology education to foster STEM skill development (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Our popular Rollins College summer day camps and overnight camps are located in Winter Park, FL.

Rollins was ranked the top regional university in the South by U.S. News & World Report and the School of Business was ranked No. 1 in Florida by Forbes Magazine. Rollins is impressively recognized by Peterson's Competitive Colleges, Barron's Guide and The Princeton Review as being among the finest private liberal arts colleges in America. The campus is beautiful and is a fabulous place to run camp.

We have chosen Rollins College to host our summer computer camps because of its convenient Central Florida location and beautiful college campus. One of the most notable college landmarks of this Florida summer camp is the Peace Memorial. The memorial itself was constructed in 1938 and houses a German artillery shell that was surrendered by Germany at the end of WWI. Another Rollins sight to see is the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. Located on the school grounds, the museum contains works of art and objects ranging from antiquity to the 21st century. Also, it is recommended to check out the Rollins Walk of Fame, which consists of more than 500 stones taken from houses of historic people including Christopher Columbus and many others.

Please note, if you are flying in, the most convenient method of transportation from Orlando International Airport to Rollins is via taxi.

  • "My son is usually anxious in new settings, especially when he knows no one. The camp leaders stepped right up to him, introduced themselves and took him into the group. He was at ease instantly. He was so excited about camp every day and could not wait to get back the next day to keep working on his project. I know his ideas were pretty grand prior to getting to camp. (He was planning a 3-D virtual online game). I was pleased to see that he was encouraged to downsize his ideas without feeling rejected or disappointed."
