About The Middletown Area

Along the Connecticut River and in the central area of the state, you'll find Middletown, a large residential city with a downtown mostly made up of Wesleyan University. Serving as the hub of Middlesex County, Middletown was selected by the National Trust for Historic Preservation for having one of the country's "most romantic streets." A few of Wesleyan's most notable residents include Woodrow Wilson, former President of the United States, Bill Belichick, Super Bowl Champion head coach of the New England Patriots, and Joss Whedon, screenwriter and director of major feature films like Marvel's The Avengers. Many iD Tech Camps students come from surrounding Connecticut cities like Bristol, Glastonbury, Guilford, Madison, and West Hartford to attend our Middletown summer computer camps.

"Our son attends different camps all summer long—he has already said that this camp is his FAVORITE! He really looked forward to going to camp every day and shared his daily experiences with us as soon as he got home, talking about his teacher, his game and even his lunch. Thank you for a great experience - we'll be back!" -Barbara Jo C., Parent, Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT

"Very fun camp overall. I highly recommend the overnight option, as it allows you to get to know your peers. Much more than a tech camp, as there were many outdoor activities...Great camp." -Ryan H., Student, Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT

"It is a very creative program. Great summer learning experience!" -Amanda E., Parent, Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT
