About University of Denver

This is our 16th season hosting Denver, CO summer camps at our University of Denver location, but our first year hosting iD Tech Mini! Campers attending Mini at this location will build tech skills in an upbeat, kid-friendly environment. Students can expect a common-sense balance of instruction, breaks, outdoor play, optional sports, video games, and hands-on learning with cool tech gadgets at our Maker Station.

We have chosen the University of Denver to host our summer kids’ camps in Colorado because of the university's reputation as a highly academic institution. Founded in 1864, DU is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountains. The campus is located in a dynamic, cosmopolitan city close to pristine mountain wilderness, and the university is distinguished by its creative combination of liberal arts, professional programs, selectively focused graduate studies, and associated schools and centers.

DU's campus has a mixture of historic and modern buildings. With fountains and a meandering stream, the University of Denver Harper Humanities Gardens offer a lush oasis in the heart of this 125-acre, tree-shaded campus. DU is often ranked in the top 50 private national universities by U.S. News & World Report.
