Ages 10-15 | All-Girls | Weeklong | Coding, Web Design, Visual Arts, Leadership, and More

You’re invited to a warm, inspiring environment where girls collaborate to better our world! At Alexa Café, you’ll tap into the power of coding, video game design, engineering, and more, exploring leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy along the way. Big ideas take shape around café tables, and meaningful projects come to life in just one week. reports that while over 50% of the U.S. population is female, women make up only 12% of computer science undergrads. Alexa Café—named after iD Tech co-founder Alexa Ingram-Cauchi—was designed to address this pervasive gender gap by providing a space that empowers girls to innovate and create change within STEM fields and beyond.

About Tech Camps Held at Alverno High School

Welcome to our Sierra Madre camps for girls held at Alverno High School! This private, all-girls Catholic school was founded in 1960 by the Sisters of Saint Francis and is supported by the Immaculate Heart Community. Today, Alverno High School is a vibrant location whose mission statement exemplifies their inspiring and independent attitude: “To empower each young woman to be exactly the person she wants to be.” Girls are challenged in an innovative and unique environment, nestled on thirteen acres in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. With its girl-positive attitude, wide variety of curriculum, commitment to 21st century technology learning, and stunning grounds, Alverno High School is an ideal addition to our Alexa Café locations.
