About the Irvine Area

Irvine became an incorporated city of Orange County in 1971, growing to a population of over 220,000 residents, and establishing a reputation as a safe, livable city. In 2011, Businessweek named Irvine as the 5th best city in America, citing the strength of the city's schools and wealth of residents as reasons why Irvine is a great place to settle down and raise a family. The University of California, Irvine is one of the newest members of the UC system, offering 84 undergraduate degrees in total. Its campus is not far from a number of different beaches and many popular Southern California destinations like Anaheim's Disneyland and Hollywood's Universal Studios. All of these aspects combined make for a great summer camp location—with many iD Tech Camps students from surrounding cities like Corona, Fullerton, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Ladera Ranch, Long Beach, Newport Beach, Orange, and Yorba Linda attending our Irvine summer computer camps.

Looking for something fun to do while the kids are at camp? Our Irvine summer programs are minutes from the city's top attractions. Happy exploring!

"My son has learned an incredible amount in every camp session he has attended. It is the only forum where he has the opportunity to learn about and participate in the field he plans to enter. The quality of instruction is superb, he has a fabulous time and always leaves counting the days until he can return!" -Karin G., Parent, UC Irvine

"iD Tech Camps was the best summer camp I've ever been to, hands down. The instructors were very kind and helpful and taught me a lot...iD is awesome!" -Aaron L., Student, UC Irvine

"iD Tech Camps is exactly what I was looking for in terms of a technology based summer camp. The curriculum and range of classes was impressive. My 9 year old came home everyday enthusiastic about what she was learning at camp. We can hardly wait for the next session to start!" -Lisa C., Parent, UC Irvine
