Robotics and Visual Programming Lab with VEX

Course Description

Join a robotics “pit crew” in this hands-on, team-based course. Students start building with VEX on day one, learning the mechanics to construct their robots. Then they’ll program the robot to run both with remote controls and autonomously using VEX Coding Studio and visual programming for robotics. Make robots that compete in challenges, respond to their environment with sonar and touch sensors, or lift heavy objects. What will your student build?

Prerequisite: Ability to work in a team. Each student will be provided with an individual computer and will share robotics equipment.
