Develop and Code Games with C++

Course Description
Take C++, one of the world's most versatile programming languages, to the next level by using a graphics library to create your own arcade-style games. Build them from the ground up and code your own unique mechanics. Jump-start a game programming career while using the industry-standard Microsoft Visual Studio Community to create impressive projects.
Proficiency in algebra: knowledge of variables, integers, and absolute values, and ability to evaluate algebraic expressions using order of operations and the distributive property.

In this course, your student will:

  • Work with variables, strings, and characters and use mathematical algorithms
  • Utilize graphics libraries to add visuals to games
  • Read user input and print output to the screen
  • Use logic and code skills to solve programming challenges
