Introducing Virtual Tech Camps! Learn from home. Right now.

iD Tech in action

If you're unfamiliar with the concept of a tech summer camp, it can be described as summer camp fun blended with tech courses and opportunities for kids and teens to learn coding, game design, robotics, and more.

So, then, a virtual tech camp is all of that, but now the collaborative spirit of the in-person program is moved online. Campers experience structured tech courses alongside others, all from the comfort of home.

Specifically, the Virtual Tech Camps from iD Tech are the perfect online learning option for those on spring break or enduring a school closure who want to continue learning right now. Sessions are available throughout the week, in multiple time zones, with curriculum rooted in Python, Minecraft, AI, and more.

Now kids and teens can advance their tech skills, engage with other students (5 max per instructor), and learn through a combination of live instruction and self-paced project development.

Here’s the breakdown:

Virtual Tech Camps

Ages: For all skill levels, ages 7-19.

Dates: Structured, weeklong sessions available now in multiple time zones (5 consecutive days, Monday-Friday).

Schedule: 2 hours of live instruction per day + 2 hours of self-paced project development per day.

Curriculum: Python, Java, Minecraft, Roblox, AI, Unreal Engine, Adobe, 3D modeling, and more.

Ratios: 5 students max per instructor, blending personalized learning and team interaction.

Tracking: Personalized instructor feedback delivered via email so you can track your child's success.

Benefits

With school closures and work-from-home policies in effect, it can be hard to adjust. Our Virtual Tech Camps give students the opportunity to:

  • Get into a structured schedule
  • Build new skills
  • Bond with friends online
  • Focus on something constructive

(Parents: You'll be amazed by how much YOU can accomplish when your kids are online with us.)

Instructors

Passion for tech. Unmatched expertise. Personality that brings out the absolute best in your child. With 20+ years of experience, we know there's no replacement for the best teacher, in-person or online.

That's why we hire elite, all-adult educators and recruit the same carefully-vetted talent sought by companies like Google, EA, Tesla, and Disney. They hire who we hire.

We retain our finest staff from our worldwide programs to teach online.

  • Stanford, Caltech, NYU: Our elite talent comes from the top universities. Very few can wear the “ iD Tech Certified” badge.
  • Meticulous background and reference checks.
  • All-adult instructors (no high schoolers or CITs).
  • Adherence to American Camp Association accredited guidelines.

Why iD?

Our Silicon Valley-based family company has spent 20+ years perfecting the art of in-person and online education. We’re not a fly-by-night pop-up. We live and breathe EdTech, and specialize in empowering students—getting them excited about topics they may initially be “unsure” about.

50,000 students attend our programs each year. 9 out of 10 go on to major in STEM at a four-year college. Outcomes matter.

Not to mention that 150 top universities and 70 innovative tech partners guide and shape the educational experiences we deliver to your child.
