  • ABOUT
  • ABOUT THE FORT WORTH AREA

Not far from Dallas is Fort Worth, Texas’ fifth-largest city with over 740,000 residents. One of Fort Worth’s nicknames is “Cow Town” thanks to its rich tradition as a trading and cattle center back around the days when the city was established in 1849. Texas Christian University calls Fort Worth “home;” a private university only a few miles from downtown, known athletically for its football prowess, and academically as a Tier 1 university (as named by the U.S. News and World Report). iD Tech Camps and iD Gaming Academy hold summer programs at TCU, with students from Arlington, Weatherford, and Keller attending.
