ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF DENVER
This is our 14th season hosting Denver, CO summer camps at our University of Denver location. We strike the right balance between off-computer activities (creative games, sports, life skills, etc.) and essential technology education to foster STEM skill development (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Our popular University of Denver summer day camps and overnight camps allow students to explore tech interests in a fun, yet challenging setting.
We have chosen the University of Denver to host our summer kids’ computer camps, academic camps and teen camps in Colorado because of the university’s reputation as a highly academic institution. Founded in 1864, the University of Denver is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountains. Campus is located in a dynamic, cosmopolitan city close to pristine mountain wilderness, and the university is distinguished by its creative combination of liberal arts, professional programs, selectively focused graduate studies and associated schools and centers.
The University of Denver’s campus has a mixture of historic and modern buildings. With fountains and a meandering stream, the University of Denver Harper Humanities Gardens offer a lush oasis in the heart of this 124-acre, tree-shaded campus. DU is often ranked in the top 50 private national universities by U.S. News & World Report.
The University of Denver is located just 8 miles south of downtown Denver, 15 miles to the mountains and only 45 minutes from Denver International Airport, making it the perfect day camp and overnight camp location. Come check out our Colorado summer camps!
