Programming may seem technical but it should also be a blast! Experience a summer camp adventure where computer characters are at your command. This Scratch programming course for kids introduces our younger students to the essential building blocks behind object-oriented programming through creating fun, interactive stories and simple games. Students let their imaginations run wild and learn programming basics with Scratch through interactive storytelling. Kids think creatively and learn how to program their own stories, games, and animations, as well as how to share their creations on the web. Take home a copy of your own game at the end of this Scratch programming class. It could be the start of something BIG!

At iD, balance is very important. Our Scratch camps are fun and engaging, and completely unlike school. We want you to develop genuine passion for STEM subjects, and keep coming back year after year. If it’s not fun—and if you don’t learn a lot—we know you won’t return. You can expect roughly 5 hours a day of instruction, with plenty of time for supervised breaks, social time, outdoor play, optional sports, video games, and other creative techtivities. Many clients describe the total iD experience as “magical” and “unlike anything else.” We work hard to make the experience unique, memorable, and valuable.
